Derek Rodgers was awarded a Fellowship of the Guildhall School of Music & Drama on 4 November 2016 at the Guildhall in the City of London. The award was in recognition of his contribution to the School .
Now
Recently completed works include a musical dramatisation of Bronte's Jane Eyre, three dance movements for Saxophone & Piano, a liturgical setting of the Mass for chorus and chamber orchestra and a piano work titled Twelve Poems Without Words.
